Two - Year Warranty Provisions 

1.The two - year warranty coverage is extended to products procured through legitimate Shengmilo channels, with the purpose of providing protection against all manufacturing - related defects. This warranty is non - assignable and is applicable solely to the original purchaser and the original product. It should be clearly noted that all complimentary accessories are explicitly excluded from the scope of this warranty service.

2.Once the initial purchaser places an order and takes delivery of the product from our official online store, the warranty registration process will be automatically initiated. The warranty remains in effect only for the original owner and the original product.

3.The warranty commences from the date of purchase and does not include electric bicycles acquired from unauthorized sources. To make use of the warranty benefits, the purchaser is required to present the original receipt as conclusive proof of purchase. Additionally, verification of the name, address, and any other relevant information submitted during the purchase process will be carried out.

Important Notices:
•Electric bicycles are strictly prohibited from being sold to individuals under the age of 18. Minor riders must be accompanied by parents or adult guardians during cycling activities.
•Stolen bicycles are not covered by this warranty. It is highly recommended that you purchase high - quality locks to safeguard your bicycle when it is not in use.

Covered Products

1.Subject to the sole discretion of Shengmilo, any original equipment and/or non - consumable parts that are determined to be defective shall be repaired or replaced within a two - year period commencing from the date of original purchase.
1.1 Battery
Shengmilo batteries are provided with a one - year warranty. In the event that a battery is found to be defective, it will be repaired using spare parts without any additional charge within the first year of service. The validity of battery repairs is up to the original purchase date. Moreover, the assessment of battery defects shall be conducted solely by Shengmilo.
Warranty Exclusions:
Consumable Parts Wear: Wear and tear of consumable parts that necessitate regular maintenance, which include but are not restricted to tires, inner tubes, brake pads, cables, housings, grips, chains, spokes, kickstand lights, LCD displays, pedals, cranks, motors, saddles, and shifters. These parts are subject to normal usage - related wear and are not covered under the scope of this warranty. Replacement parts can be procured from shengmilo.store.
Damage due to Improper Use and External Factors:
(1)Defects or damages resulting from accidents, misuse, improper utilization (such as stunt riding, racing, or other activities not in line with the product's intended use), improper storage, exposure to liquids, contact with chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, or dirt, negligence, or abnormal physical, electrical, or mechanical stress.
(2)Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, except when such damage is attributable to Shengmilo.
(3)Products with serial numbers or barcodes that have been removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or rendered difficult to identify.
(4)Product defects or damage caused by the use of accessories, products, or auxiliary/peripheral devices that are not provided or approved by Shengmilo in connection with the product.
(5)Defects or damages arising from assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment methods that deviate from the instructions provided in the assembly manuals and user guides.
(6)Defects or damages caused by external factors such as collisions, fires, floods, storms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper power use.
Furthermore, with respect to batteries, this limited warranty explicitly excludes defects or damages that are caused by the following circumstances:
(1) The act of charging the battery with a charger that is either unsuitable or not specifically designed for use with this particular battery.
(2) The improper utilization of the battery charger, which does not conform to the recommended usage guidelines.
(3) Any indication of unauthorized interference with or damage to the battery, whether through physical manipulation, alteration, or other means.
(4) The use of the battery in devices other than those bicycles that have been specifically designated for its use by the manufacturer.

1.2 Frame

(1) Shengmilo electric bicycle frames are provided with a two - year replacement warranty. This warranty is applicable to ensure the replacement of frames that are found to be defective within the specified two - year period from the date of original purchase.
(2) The scope of this warranty is strictly limited to the replacement of the frame itself. It does not incorporate any labor costs that may be incurred during the process of transferring components from the defective frame to the replacement frame. Authorized Shengmilo service representatives, in accordance with established criteria and procedures, will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine whether a frame satisfies the replacement standards.
(3) During the frame replacement process, Shengmilo reserves the right to utilize frames from its inventory that may have scratches or dents, provided that such frames meet the necessary quality and safety requirements. In the event that the original frame style and/or color is out of stock, Shengmilo has the discretion to substitute it with a compatible frame style and/or color, after careful consideration of factors such as functionality, compatibility with other components, and overall product integrity.

1.3 Components (Motor, Controller, Battery, Charger, Throttle, Pedal Assist Sensor, Display Panel)

Motors, controllers, batteries, chargers, throttles, pedal - assist sensors, display panels, and flywheels are subject to a one - year warranty.
The following are explicitly excluded from this warranty:
1.Defects or damages resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or abnormal usage. Abnormal usage encompasses, but is not limited to, stunt riding, racing, or any other activities that deviate from the product's intended use. 6.Defects or damages resulting from external factors, including but not limited to collisions, fires, floods, storms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper power use.
7.Normal wear and tear due to non - manufacturing or material - related causes, such as that of tires, brakes, and other parts prone to wear. Shengmilo reserves the right to assess the degree of wear.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims falling under the purview of this warranty policy must be directed to Shengmilo at the designated email address: info@shengmilo.store. Alongside every warranty request, the claimant is obliged to submit the proof of purchase, accompanied by either photos or videos clearly demonstrating the damaged product. Prior to lodging a formal warranty claim, it is strongly recommended that claimants first get in touch with Shengmilo's customer service at the aforementioned email address. This is because, in many cases, the reported issue may be resolved through straightforward means, obviating the need for a formal claim. Shengmilo shall attend to all valid warranty claims that are submitted within two years from the date of the initial purchase. In the event of a defect, displays, batteries, motors, and controllers are eligible for replacement during the warranty period. However, customers shall assume the responsibility for covering the shipping fees associated with such replacements. Shengmilo adheres to a strict protocol whereby no parts will be replaced without the prior review of photos or videos depicting the damaged product. Customers are thus required to furnish this essential evidence via email to info@shengmilo - bikes.com. It is important to note that Shengmilo will provide replacement components and parts free of charge, within the boundaries of its defined scope of responsibility. This excludes shipping costs. Additionally, Shengmilo will not assume any installation costs that have not been authorized by its after - sales team. 

Shipping Damage

In the event that all accessories sustain scratches or go missing during the transportation process, no replacement or compensation shall be rendered. Although it is a rare occurrence, there may be instances where the received items are damaged during transit. It is hereby noted that the following conditions shall be regarded as normal and shall not be eligible for coverage under the free replacement or refund policy:

 (1) Minor damage to the outer packaging.

 (2) Minor scratches or paint chips on the product.

(3) Bendable components that have been bent as a result of transportation.

(4) Parts or components prone to wear and tear that have been damaged subsequent to a certain period of use. We shall not entertain any shipping - damage claims that are submitted more than seven days after the receipt of the product.
